Is the iPhone 6 too big??

I have large size hands, and recently upgraded to the iPhone 6. Previously I had the iPhone 5S and it was fine for me, but I was drawn to the allure of a bigger screen. Now that nI have the phone in hand however, I am finding that despite my large hands, that I have difficulty maintaining a good grip on the phone with just one hand and now need to either adapt to using two hands to do certain functions with the phone, or returning it and going back to the iPhone 5S. I realise this may be a "first world problem", but bear in mind that I am used to using all previous phones I have ever had with one hand.
