While Sammy Kershaw's version of this tune will always be my favorite, Roy does a fine job with it. At first, I thought it was an odd choice of material for him to do, but he comes through per the usual. While my version comes off of a 1985 album entitled "Country Rose", deeper diggin' showed that this was just a re-release of his 1977 "Ramblin' Man" LP. Good stuff, so take a listen!
