I built it to do exactly what I am doing with it. 
"hauling ass and kicking but."

this 1942 WLA Harley was assembled with 95% NOS military parts. most of the used parts were WR or KR racing parts.
you figure out which ones I used.

after 33 years of carful riding I finally broke, more like wore out the high gear shift clutch. must not be as hard on it as you think.
for being the 2nd bike and motor I built I think it has held up fairly good.
by the way, I won the race.

this is my favorite race bike.
