In September 2018 Matilda traveled together with her parents and grandparents through the Swiss Alps aboard the famous Bernina Express. This train journey from St. Moritz in Switzerland to Tirano in Italy is the highest alpine crossing on tracks anywhere in Europe and this engineering feat is part of Unesco Word Heritage.
Our journey took us two days, with overnight stays in St. Moritz and Lugano.
