Here is Heat 2 (of 2) of the Girls 1600 Meter Run from the 2018 CIF (Southern Section) Division 4 Track and Field Prelims meet held on May 12, 2018 at Carpinteria High School in Carpinteria, California.

Commentary:  Along with Heat 1's Suarez, Barnett is also the next big thing.  They go 5-6 at State Finals, a half second apart.  This from little D4 schools.  Barnett gaps the field with 600 to go in this Prelims race and it is a done deal.  As for the others, Donahue gets a big PR, Oca gets a small PR and Burton comes close.
