In a shocking incident, man reportedly tried to burn his wife alive at Tapassi village of Gokak taluk in Belagavi district.

Injured 27-yr-old Anusuya is being treated at the Belagavi district hospital.
 
Man named Siddappa allegedly tried to burn his wife alive over dowry issue.

Siddappa was reportedly demanding to transfer a piece of land to his name which was in his father-in-law's name.

Anusuya's family allege Siddappa, his parents too were involved in the act.

Siddappa and his family members are absconding.

Case registered at Kulagod police station.
