12.07.2018 | 12:56 AM | HOUSTON - A big rig hauling jalapeños burned on a local freeway, early Friday morning. Firefighters responded to reports of a big rig with a trailer on fire on the Southwest Freeway just past the I-610. Crews arriving on scene located a big rig with a trailer engulfed in flames on the right shoulder. The driver was able to disconnect the cab of truck, leaving the trailer isolated. Officials doused the blaze from the outside within 10 minutes before cutting open the trailer to ensure the fire had not spread. The trailer was hauling a load of jalapeños at the time of the incident. ----------------MUST HAVE EQUIPMENT---------------- NEWS VIDEO CAMERA: https://amzn.to/2r5zsS8 POLICE & FIRE RADIO SCANNER: https://amzn.to/2BxQFte EMERGENCY MEDICAL KIT: https://amzn.to/2TLUAtM LED ROAD FLARE & RESCUE TOOL: https://amzn.to/2TO0EC3 For video licensing and use contact [email protected].
