Thank you so much to everyone who donated! We raised over $3,500 from more than 40 generous friends - including $20 at the last minute from a nice young man who happened to be at the park for the dive (it's in the video). That's enough to cover a month's worth of rent and then some, which will really help Moti and Shira get back on their feet. As promised, here's the video of the dive! I just got over my cold when I did this swim, so my voice is a little scratchy. Water: 6ºC / 43ºF Air: 6ºC / 43ºF In the US, people don't jump into water in these temps, unless it's for a fundraiser. It was very cold (you can hear my voice break when I say I shouldn't swallow the polluted water), but it wasn't that bad. Next time, I want to actually swim. Refreshing and fun. www.friendsofmotiandshira.com/
