Standoff in Deltona leaves 2 dead

Investigators have identified the man who shot another man dead and then fatally shot himself in a Deltona apartment at the end of a six-hour standoff during which the shooter called 9-1-1 and prayed with the operator, telling her that he could not go back to jail, officials said. The shooter was identified as Noel Flores, 60, and the person he shot as 44-year-old Arthur Johnson, who was the nephew of Flores’ deceased wife, investigators said.
