The relationship we have with God is a covenant relationship.God is the God of Covenant. when a covenant is made, that relationship and bond can not be broken, the closest thing on the earth that gives us the example of a blood covenant is marriage. in this covenant two parties are united through Blood, you literally become one with that person, all he has is yours and all you have is His. you are bond to protect and defend and serve Hime and so is He. our relationship in marriage or with God is not a contract to be over with or be broken.
