Here’s a video which will show you how to play the pinky (fourth) finger on the fiddle and give you some practice exercises.

Then try these starting on the A string using A4.
 
Try playing a 2 octave G major scale up to E4:
G0-1-2-3-D0-1-2-3-A0-1-Lo2-3-E0-1-Lo2-3-4
