Harish Kalyan became popular after he entered into the reality show Big Boss. He was a late entrant and did not participate in the show from the beginning. But still, he managed to last for almost half the season.

After the fame of big boss, he got many chances in Tamil movies. Recently Santhanam's Sakka Podu Podu Raja audio launch took place. In that event, he shared his experiences of working with a controversial actor. 
He praised that actor and said that he helped him a lot in particular song recording.

Also, Director Rajesh, shared his experiences while shooting the movie and there a lot of mentions about Santhanam. There were a few funny moments also during his speech wherein he made fun of Santhanam.
