The Motor City, an American giant in the automotive industry. General Motors, "GM" a titan of an automaker, one of the Big 3... I spent a week in Detroit, Michigan taking in the people, the cars, and the Soul of an amazing city. What a metropolis! What history!! I captured the 7 skyscraper Renaissance Center - General Motors headquarters & the historic Fisher Building. I took in the sights & sounds of Detroit Iron, American Muscle Cars, American Luxury Cars, rolling works of art from the 1930s, the 1950s, the swinging 60s, and beyond. Long Live GM and the Motor City baby! I was in town for the 24th Annual Woodward Dream Cruise, what a great event.
