Video Engagement: 7 Ways To Make Your Videos More Engaging
http://www.drostdesigns.com/video-engagement/

Are your current videos getting a lot of views?
Are your viewers staying until the end of the video?
Are they leaving any comments?

Here are 7 ways to engage your viewers

1. Get their attention right away
Most videos start with a logo or some kind of introduction but they fail to tell the viewer what is in the video right from the start so tell the person first what's in the video and then give your introduction.

2. Add text boxes, images and music
This works best with talking head videos because a person only gets bored by just watching a person talking so to break it up add text, music and images.

3. Provide quality content
Don't try to just try to ramble on throughout the video talking about yourself but try to provide a solution to one of their biggest problems.

4. Keep it short
Don't make your videos 5 or 10 minutes long because you'll lose the attention of your viewers. Try to keep them around 2.5 to 3 minutes.

5. Be more energized than you normally are
Video tends to reduce the energy of the person that it is filming so to remedy that try to speak a little louder, gestulate and give your energy into the video.

6. Zoom in and out
Try to take close ups of your subject by zooming in on the person and then zoom out. This helps break up the monotony of the video and keeps your visitors' attention.

7. Promise a free gift
Promise a free gift at the beginning of your video so your viewers will stay until the end to receive it.
