The second destination of our trip to the Netherlands was Rotterdam. A great way to explore its famous harbour (the largest and deepest in Europe) on a rainy day is with a cruise in the mouth of the river Rhine. As this river also flows through our hometown in Switzerland we noticed that we a few things in common with this beautiful city. Among the highlights of our day trip was exploring the Maritime Museum and a visit to the spectacular market hall.
