The 2015 IPC Powerlifting Open Asian Championships, a key qualification stop for Rio 2016, will be held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, from 26-30 July.

Around 120 athletes from 25 countries are expected to compete in the competition organised locally by the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Paralympic Committee of Kazakhstan."
