Warbird Flight

2010 Jones Beach Airshow
Jones Beach State Park
Wantagh, New York
Saturday May 29, 2010

IN THIS VIDEO, the 2010 show featured a slightly smaller warbird flight than in past years. Participating in the warbird flight on Saturday includes a B-17 Flying Fortress, a C-47 Skytrain, F4U Corsair, P-40 Warhawk, P-51 Mustang, and two T-6 Texans. It should be noted that the B-17 came from the Yankee Air Museum, the F4U Corsair came from the famous Tom Duffy warbird collection, and my good friend Chris Baranaskas is flying the P-51 Mustang. The C-47, P-40, and the two T-6 Texans are operated by the American Airpower Museum.

If you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take the time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .
