http://www.Ovationtv.com This week's American Revolutionaries is about composer and conductor Aaron Copland. Aaron Copland's body of work is as expansive as it is adorned. Together with Gershwin, Ives and Bernstein, he created music that mirrored the world in which he lived. Yet, would Copland have achieved the fame he deserved if "Fanfare for the Common Man" had not been so immensely popular? Does a great piece of art require an audience? And if a piece of art truly is great, does that mean it will necessarily be recognized as such? Artist and American Revolutionaries host Justin Bua believes that if art is great, it will always be recognized whether it is in a museum or in a coffee shop. Great art is great and will demand an audience simply through it's existence. What do you think?
