Doorplating at 130 is one thing any railfan would enjoy doing. I am no different to it. On June 10, 2014, I took a ride on the Howrah Ranchi Shatabdi Express to Asansol along with my friends and fellow railfans Arghya Roy, Pritam Das, Gourab Bhattacharjee and Monarch Banerjee. The Shatabdi, numbered 12019, runs with brand new LHB rakes and touches the MPS of 130 kmph regularly in the Howrah Dhanbad section of Eastern Railways. Presenting a small part of the 130 kmph blast that I had experienced from the door. My train skips Galsi where it crosses a stranded Kalka Howrah Mail led by a Howrah WAP-7 and the Howrah bound Vibhuti Express soon after which was with a Mughalsarai WAP-4. Prior to all these, we cross the Barddhaman bound morning MEMU from Asansol amidst running at a constant speed of 130 kmph. We were led by Howrah WAP-4 #22379.
