mid 50s british philco record player, only imfo ive found if its correct is... its model A3760, it uses 6volts, garrard BA1 deck with a cosmocord crystal cartridge ( working ) on the deck theres a switch ( gram - A,B,C,D ) but not sure yet what there for, it also has to push in plugs for cables, again the same on the back of the cabnet which has 2 wires going to the speaker terminals.
According to the circuit diagram ( if correct ) the unit could be used as a intercom / baby alarm or morse- trainer , the mind boggels lol
