Blacksmithing, Windjammer Park, Deception Pass & A Birthday Treat on Whidbey Island! | Vlog 72 SEPTEMBER 2016 In this rv travel vlog we learn how to forge and be a blacksmith as a birthday gift from our friends. We made knives from old bolts by heating and hammering them into shape. We then head to Windjammer Park, Oak Harbor WA to get Tom back in touch with his childhood roots on Tom's birthday. Tom was born here on Whidbey Island and it was really fun for him to come back as an adult and revisit the sights and relive memories. http://www.oakharbor.org/page.cfm?pageId=192 After Windjammer Park we visit Deception Pass State Park and the Deception Pass Bridge that stretches between Fidalgo Island and Whidbey Island. Deception Pass is known for it's turbulent waters that rush in and out with the tide. It is characterized by emerald color water, standing waves, and swirling undercurrents that you can see from above.
