This animated 1930s cartoon features a determined Felix the Cat navigating humorous mishaps with a defective car and headlights on his way to marry a female cat. The story unfolds with slapstick humor, including interactions with other characters like a police officer, mice, and an unhelpful auto parts clerk. After several mechanical struggles, chases, and a near-miss wedding, the cat’s journey ends with a romantic resolution as he drives away with his bride. The animation highlights the whimsical antics of anthropomorphic characters and a humorous take on perseverance in the face of mechanical failures. Ultimately, the film is a promotional film for Mazda brand headlights made by General Electric.
