A Dartmaster is a Routemaster that has had its engine replaced and its gaerbox replaced with an Allison gearbox. All of the routemasters runing in london on TFL are dartmasters - if you want to go on a proper Routemaster then you will need to find a heritage bus museum that run Routemasters.
