I carved out some time for just my daughter and myself before I had to leave for my work trip. And so on Sunday, we went to Michael's to handle a return, picked up some new window decorations and a surprise toy, and then headed to Peet's for some coffee and hot chocolate. It is one of my favorite things to do with my daughter. And just what I needed to hold me over while I am away from her for work for the next week. For her surprise toy, my daughter picked up an Animal Jam. This was her first one, and she really seemed to like it. Thanks for watching.
