Blade Man is literally the sharpest Robot Master around! He was originally a guide to the castle that his stage takes place in, but after catching Robenza, all he wants to do now is face anyone he encounters to a duel using his deadly Triple Blade weapon.

He's weak to Commando Man's Commando Bomb, but like Nitro Man's weakness to Chill Spike, there's a bit of a tier to reach to actually exploit this weakness.

After firing a Commando Bomb, you can change its direction up to two times. Sure, you can hit enemies with the bomb directly, but it's more powerful when you let it explode against a wall, floor, or ceiling. It's the explosion of the Commando Bomb, not the bomb itself, that does extra damage to Blade Man. So while he's jumping around his room like crazy, you have to aim the Commando Bomb close to where he is, but not directly at him. A direct attack will still do more damage than one lemon from the Mega Buster, but a bomb explosion will do more.

He was very annoying for me to beat, and I don't think I'd even be able to beat him on one life at all if I didn't have his weakness. Once you get the Triple Blade. You can use it in two ways. Firing it off while on the ground will have the blades shoot mostly upwards, while firing the blades while airborne will mostly shoot them downward.

They also have a lot of good ammo for a weapon with such flexible utility. It's practically the opposite of that freaking Thunder Wool...
