Vlog Horseshoe Lake AZ : Fished 11/04/2017 I hope you enjoyed this vlog. I fished Horseshoe lake and then later went to the ASU game. The ASU game was awesome! It was a close game and ASU pulled off the win in the end. In this adventure Kevin and I headed to Horseshoe lake; a place I have always wanted to visit. We started off the morning using Top water poppers and also tried a variety of Texas rigged worms and spinner baits. We fished the main lake and then below the dam at the Verde river. Though we saw plenty of action at the lake we determined it was just carp. Under the dam looked promising and though we did see an individual catch a bass we did not catch one ourselves. The fishing spots of the Verde river were limited with a few places to camp. The dirt road coming into the lake is bumpy and adds about a half hour to travel time. I've always wanted to visit Horseshoe lake and now that I have I'm not sure I will be back soon. Its a beautiful area but the fishing was not any different then the closer areas.
