Small Recirculating Drop Riffle Sluice

I built this small drop riffle sluice to use on places where there is not enough water flow to run a regular sluice. It is battery powered, using a portable power pack designed to jump off a car that can be easily carried into remote locations due to its light weight. The electric pump is a 800 gph cartridge bilge pump from wal mart. I have the pump thoroughly insulated from debris inside a Folgers coffee can that has 3 layers of filter to keep out sand + gravel.  I dont know how long the battery lasts though because I am still testing that. I think it will run at least 6 hours, maybe more.
