In December 2016 I checked The Wave, Arizona off my bucket list. I've been dreaming of hiking to The Wave for years now and found myself at the Arizona/Utah border with a few days to spare. I entered the lottery in Kanab, UT and was the first pick on my first day! I spent a gorgeous morning around the Coyote Buttes and The Wave enjoying the unique sandstone features.
