The NRC (NRC.gc.ca) maintains a dial-in talking clock service. Its voice has an awesome mid-Atlantic accent. Edit: The time announcements were recorded by Harry Mannis (ref https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Mannis) Here I'm just testing the delay between 3 different phones. From left to right: Avaya 1408 Digital set, connected to local IP Office PBX Avaya 1616L IP set, registered to local IP Office virtual appliance Avaya 9608G IP set, registered to remote IP Office PBX (72km away over MPLS) As you can hear, there is a few ms of delay between the phones.
