This version of “Porque te vas” performed by José (Josse) Guardiola and Joan Manuel Serrat is actually a Spanish interpretation connected to the French classic “Et maintenant,” known in English as “What Now My Love.” It brings together two iconic Spanish voices, each adding their own warmth and expression to the song. This duet was recorded as part of a special project celebrating José Guardiola’s 40‑year career, and it was released around 1998–1999. Please note that this is not the same as the famous 1974 song “Porque te vas” by Jeanette, which is a completely different composition.
