I'm blown away by those VST's. Did a quick test, tried to get close to recent Petrucci kinda sound. Signal chain is: MusicMan Petrucci (D-sonic pickup) - Line6 TonePort UX2 - Reaper's noise gate - TSE 808 - Poulin LE456 (Tracks 1 and 3) - Poulin Legion (Tracks 2 and 4) - reapers chorus - Recabinet 3 - Nomad Factory Essential Graphic EQ - ReEQ. You can see all the settings in the video (I hope). The song is "On the backs of Angels" by Dream Theater. This doesn't include the original guitar stem. It was muted and replaced with what I recorded. Any tips for making this tone even better highly recommended !
