Skratch Bastid returns to the Steam Whistle Brewery Roundhouse on August 11th, 2012 at 6pm for the 2nd Annual Bastid BBQ. After a widely successful inaugural BBQ last summer that brought together hundreds of Toronto lovers of music and food, Bastid returns for a second year, this time with bigger and bolder treats for your ears and taste buds. This year the menu has been upgraded, with a selection of delicious food courtesy of Massive Catering. The event has also diversified its musical menu, with a stellar lineup of performers and DJs including

BadBadNotGood,
Wrispect,
Tom Wrecks,
DJ Mastermind,
P-Plus,
DJ Drastik,
DJ John Farrugia,
Paul E. Lopes,
Deejay Ariel,
and Lucie Tic.

This year Bastid's BBQ will be hosting its first annual wing eating competition where five contestants will go head-to-head to see who can eat the most chicken wings (by weight) in a 10-minute period. The winner of the contest will win a cash prize and be invited back to defend their title at next year's BBQ.

"This BBQ is for the love of food and music, and the enjoyment of how well they go together. I sought out to find DJs and musicians who show a love for great music in their sets and mixes, and spread out the line-up to give attendees a balanced diet of styles, flavours and sounds."
