*originally recorded on 12-26-18* Eastbound signal: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight Ball LEDs, a Safetran Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, a 4 inch NEG LED gate light, a 7 inch NEG LED gate light, and a 7 inch NEG incandescent gate light. Westbound signal: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight Ball LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, a 7 inch NEG incandescent gate light, and 2 7 inch NEG LED gate lights. After getting the NERR Old Hickory Local, we went back east to catch the two Music City Star trains departing. This was the first of the two that we caught. This crossing is a rather nice one. Installed about the same time as the majority of rest of the crossings along the NERR mainline, it still features most of its original equipment, with only one gate light and one bell having been replaced (alongside an LED upgrade to most of the gate lights). In fact, the tip gate lights on both signals are still incandescent! This crossing is in a quiet zone. Trains cannot sound their horns at this crossing.
