Odyssey Ki Act 1 Scene 9:  Three Braknai PopVideo 3 instances.  As I was thinking about how to do the crowd instantiation, the idea came to me to see about making a PopVideo, a special format from Reallusion corporation, maker of Iclone and Crazytalk, that allows you to record yourself, remove all the green screen background perfectly, then place the video into a 3D model and make it look like a real avatar.  Works for Avatars too, saving from Iclone as popvideo format.  This has some advantages as it saves memory and can be used in background scenes for activity.  The shortcoming is that the popvideo does not have the same level of realism as the 3D models relative to shadows and light.  Although, I was shocked to see that the bloom effect picks up shiny armor from the popvideos just like it does with the real avatar models, so that was a surprise.  You can illuminate the popvideo segments with directional lights but it is not the same as a real 3D model.  Good test though.  Also had fun starting to explore some of the hundreds of effects that can be created and keyframed in HitFilmPro 2017, what an incredible tool, just love it.  I actually had about 10 instances of the fighting Braknai avatar as pop videos, and then backed off as it was too busy, and changed the opacity to see what effects the particles had on the scene.  Crazy, just love making new effects...
