Dungeon Hunter Champions: Vimal | Fire Time Keeper Thanks for coming cover! This is Amodeus and today’s Dungeon Hunter Champions walkthrough is all about the Vimal, the Fire Time Keeper. As always, you can support me here: https://www.paypal.me/artificeintelligence Vimal, the Fire Time Keeper, is a late game Champion. I personally don’t think his role on your roster start until you are building stable Ascended Raid Teams for Steel Widow. Now, let’s break him down and find out why: His basic attack Temporal Flux lowers cool down times by 1 second when it becomes Empowered. Until we have champions that empower other champions this means he will lower skill cool down times for 1 second every 6 seconds. His First skill, Causal Reverse, is the only reason he has value. This skill is that good. I can not overstate how valuable skills like this are in ascended content. Basically, Vimal’s Causal reverse removes strips 2 enemy buffs, heals, AND cleanses 2 debuffs from EACH ally. This skill is good because it reduces the number of other Champions you need on the team to do the role of stripper, cleanse, and skill cool down reduction. This isn’t as big a deal in ascended raids, but unfortunately his second skill doesn’t do anything besides damage. Now, I have built him on straight 3k attack and attack, crit damage, attack. In both cases he was underwhelming for damage so this is just a substandard skill. Vimal’s “ultimate skill” Temporal Void potentially stuns enemies on impact, but that’s it. Again, this alone would make him inferior to Manas or Sharma, but combine this with Kismet Blades ineffectiveness and you probably wonder if he has any other redeeming qualities besides Causal Reverse. Well, Vimal does have a synergy trait leader skill that lowers skill cool down times so he has that going for him. In addition, he ascends into a 15% increase in Attack Speed which is what all of the Time Keepers Ascend into, but let’s be honest for a second. Attack speed boosts on Time Keepers is pointless. There skill cool down reduction isn’t based on the number of attacks, there damage isn’t based on attack speed, and they are NOT damage dealers. So, based on the relative uselessness of his 2nd and 3rd skills for anything other than sheer attack-based damage I have a lot of trouble recommending him on ANYTHING except Adept. His hole role is for you to have Causal Reverse up as much as possible to cleanse and strip. Making this skill important also means making accuracy important so go precise and make it easy on yourself unless you have a broken set that offers more value for accuracy. Based on all this how am I really using him? I use him in my Ascended Raid team as the leader, stripper, and cleanser. I am working right now to get his accuracy to 100% because the only reason to use him relies entirely on Accuracy so my build is not as tanky as many others, but that is because I run a Zombie Team that is very forgiving of stats. #Vimal, #FireTimeKeeper, #DungeonHunterChampions
