This video was shot on January 18th in the morning as I drove off the crest of Mineral Sprins Mountain near Valdese, NC. I'm showing how the GoPro Hero3 Black Edition shoots in 1440p, cropped to 1080p. If you shoot in 1440p you can shift the frame up or down as you see fit and output to 1080p, either showing more of the top of your frame or the bottom. Since both formats are 1920 wide, this works really well. I shot this video at 48 frames per second so the video wouldn't blur so much at the side edges.
