Full titles read: "Welsh National Eisteddfod - for 1929 proclaimed, according to ancient custom with Bardic rites." Liverpool, Merseyside. Various shots show a procession coming towards us over a field; men in robes carry a banner and are followed by more men in robes, looking rather like Druids. One of the men climbs onto a dais and addresses the huge crowd. This man is presented with a large horn and a small wreath by a woman dressed in robes. The speechmaker takes the crown of leaves from his head and places it on the head of another man, who steps onto the dais and prepares to make a speech.
