He captures the imagination while teaching survival skills and he does with the skill of the classics in an easy to read format. "Adrain's War" takes you on a journey into the Rocky Mountains with Adrian, Roman's nephew, as he seeks out the life of a mountain man. Using dramatic license, Lloyd paints a colorful nail biting story about one man and his war against an unorganized community of prison escapees. While doing so, Lloyd is able to teach the reader valuable survival skills without sounding technical and yet draws you in to the story on an emotional level. It's a great read and to the survivalist, a must have.
