John Cosani – Big Moro, released on 2018-12-17 by Sudbeat Music - SB143

The Argentinean talent John Cosani who already appeared in the “Showcrates” series, debuts on Sudbeat with his first release: the ‘Big Moro’ EP.
John’s workman-like focus and laser precision beats have caught the imagination of a lot of the elite players in the scene and, given his young age, we are pretty sure we are dealing here with an artist with a bright future ahead.

Opening with the title track, ‘Big Moro’ John pieces together a deep, warm, percussive groove that reveals energetic synth stabs and tension. Powerful and understated.
Next up, ‘Hydra’ benefits from its immediacy before its low-end fury anchors it in peak-time territory.
Rounding out the pack is ‘Circus’ a rambunctious, meaty sonic adventure full of emotive nuance.
