For the latest news across Belize, visit: http://edition.channel5belize.com/ Minister of Culture, Patrick Faber, who is the chair of the board for the National Institute of Culture and History, says that he is awaiting an initial draft of the findings of an external audit of the statutory body. The audit was sanctioned by Cabinet about three weeks ago; after a report from the Finance Officer suggested that there was hanky-panky at the hands of President Sapna Budhrani, who was subsequently placed on administrative leave. Faber has put his own reputation on the line for Budhrani saying that she is as clean as a whistle. But even as the audit results are expected, simultaneous audits are being carried out at the National Sports Council and on the Office of the Music Ambassador, Shyne Barrow who has been asked to account for monies to his office from Budhrani. Faber gave the media an update.
