At 21.00 hours Central European Time, the results of the 2009 European Parliament elections will be made public at the parliament's venue in Brussels.

This clip shows some of the preparations at the parliament, based on footage made available via Europe by Satellite.

The first reliable indications on the overall outcome of the European elections are expected around 22.45 hours.
