The New York City Police Deapartment is asking for the public's assistance in locating a group of males and females that robbed a M/W/51 at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Monday, March 11, 2013 inside of 4102 Church Ave. (Rite Aid). The group entered the location and began to ransack the store. They removed items from the store, assaulted the victim with closed fists and a bottle, removed the victim's cellphone, and then fled the store on foot. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577.
