Notes: The faded colour outside the widescreen kind of adds an old film-like look to the video, and was totally unfixable. Anyway! Cliche vidding song but Jesus does it ever fit. It was all I could think about whenever I'd watch the film. Thank you so much to Anna (LightNeverFades) for sending me this brilliant movie. Watched it three times now and it never fails to take my breath away. I found that this song really fit these two and my God, does my new OTP just stab me repeatedly in my heart. Why can't I have a pairing that doesn't break me? I feel so much for these two (kudos to Michael and James) and the lyrics here reflect Charles' emotions near the end as well. Charles keeps screaming at Erik to just stop and let it go and listen to him but Erik chooses revenge over his friend. It's tragic. They have drawn a line between them and they are both on either sides and they refuse to step over it no matter what. Yet their differences doesn't prevent them from hurting over the fact that they can never be what they once were and they can't be together. Everything was great for them at the beginning, and then everything just spiralled downward from there. Lack of vidding inspo and I'd be genuinely surprised if anyone comments/watches this since I literally threw it together tonight.
