Lyrics:
So gather round gather round
For the star o the show
Crooked politician gifted lifted with his vision
Said-he-was-there to make a difference
Gave-an-intent to close the distance-between
The poor and the privileged
Sure

Tthe game to win an office
That-many don’t understand it
You can’t run if you don’t have the funds or try to save the planet
So he started takin backhanders
To gain the votes
Crooked interests groups they know how to throw a man a rope and choke round his neck
Said he was out to set the standard now he livin with regrets
Been 12 years in office he ain’t changed nothin!…yet
So he blocks it all away
He’ll deal with-it another day
Just as he’ still gettin paid

Yea
Big smile on his face as he rollin through the boulevards
In-his private car
Like damn he came far
Damn he’s goin hard
Thinkin bout his intern
Thoughts rated 'R'
A married man but got curves in wishes
He keeps on swingin but got one too many misses
What’s the difference he ain’t ask for this position
He’s just taken what’s given

If you was in his shoes what you do
Hmmm
See this is not a life that was used too
Sits in the dark and his thoughts are eatin at him
Guilt trips on this Eve and he’s Adam
Now voicemails full calls from friends back at school
Who used to matter
But that’s the price you pay for being up on the ladder
World’s shattered

He walks out of the bar
Takes the money from his pocket
Throws it in his brief case
Pulls up to his same meetin place
Limmo pulls in lights flash
Puts his phone on the dash
And he steps out
Shakin hands with the man who’s got the world in doubt

Change money with the man o the hour yea
