Stats SA show increase on people living in poverty in South Africa

As we have been reporting in the news, this week Stats SA released a report saying that the number of people living in poverty in South Africa has increased. Three in five South Africans live below the poverty line. Unfortunately this situation has been predicted to get worse given the stagnant economy and a growing population. Joining us now is Lumkile Mondi, a Political economist from the School of Economic and Business Sciences, Wits University.
