Plan Germany, together with footballer Mario Götze, are drawing attention to the situation of girls in northeastern Brazil during the 2014 Football World Cup. For girls who are discriminated against and disadvantaged, football can improve their lives. Plan Germany ambassador Mario Götze is supporting Plan's football initiative Kinder Brauchen Fans! (Children need fans!) in Brazil.
