So I figured this out about 3 years ago. If you have an old Weber kettle BBQ lieing around and you want a smoker or just a long lasting fire to roast a Turkey. Grab an ordinary 44 gallon drum.light a fire (you may want to put some holes in the side if you want a faster burn). Then grab a webber grilling rack, mine has little grabbers that perfectly grab the side of the 44 gallon drum. (If yours doesnt you can put some holes in the drum and run some metal rod through to sit the grill on. Finally you can put the top of the Weber on the 44 gallon drum. Perfect. This works for me personally, but im willing to hear your experiences.
