This takes some time. Sorry. -.-;;

While you can do this on Motavia and Rykros I chose to do it on Dezolis. This was because it's impossible to get the right coordinates on Motavia without using the Hydrofoil and at the time I wasn't sure about Rykros. The reason I chose the ice digger is because of it's superior regular attack. Too bad napalm isn't helpful and n-sphere is an instant death attack.

First you need the approximate coordinates. X:01E0, Y:0120
You can check the coordinates with the debug code. You can approximate these to a degree. But you need to be on the actual path inside The Edge or the vehicle will get stuck. I ended up on top of the warp tile. But this is actually ok. Any further out though and I'd be stuck.

The area I'm in on Dezolis is near Mysterious Valley. On Motavia you'd use the area just a little west of the northern Aiedo peninsula. It's also a little to the left of that half circle of deep ocean that is also really handy for warping you to good places. On Rykros it's just a little northwest of the Strength Tower. It's the same as before. Get into a battle, enable the warp codes then just win or run away.

As you can see, the ice digger does decent damage to all three forms. The reason I'm not taking any myself is because of the invincibility code. Without it the battle would be impossible.

Notice that when the enemy uses another gate the vehicle's HUD glitches and the metal frame around it turns white. There's no way to fix this. But it doesn't cause any problems. Both the second and final forms of the Profound Darkness glitch a bit at the top. it was captured looking worse than it is though.

After you defeat the boss the game's ending should play as normal. I didn't watch the whole thing. But I did this before and I'm pretty certain it was just fine.
