Because nobody does quality work nowadays, Jay had to fix it.  Sharkie was concerned that the garage door track for "his" garage bay and opener wasn't level with one of the cross bars on the window.  They're just mounted to angle iron pieces that are bolted to the ceiling.  But he wanted it straight.

Doing so required that we cut the angle iron, so I took my grinder with me and cut that down to size.

There was more to the story because he wanted the opener raised up as well, allegedly there was a lot of pressure on the chain track when the door was closed, and by raising it, it would take some pressure off of it.  To do that actually required cutting its angle iron as well since it bolts to the inside top of the opener.

I wasn't just going to stand around and let the Millennial get away with it, so not shown on camera, I had Sharkie cut those angle irons down to size.

Sharkie also adjusted the chain tension, and indeed it was too loose and worked better afterward.  Of course, this all could have been done properly the first time, but again, nobody does any quality work anymore.

While we had the ladder out, I had brought a 200 watt incandescent bulb with me so we swapped out one of those dinky LEDs he has with the incandescent.  Take a look in the video and tell me what you think.
