Police uncover property investment scam in Sabah

Police have arrested a 43-year-old man and stopped what they believe was a property investment scam targeting China, Hong Kong and Taiwanese nationals. Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Ramli Din said the company had been luring buyers to its “tourism centre project” on a 84ha piece of land in Karambunai, despite not having any approval from various authorities.
